I attended another USSDC training program today. It did make me angry earlier in the morning. Actually, I have the gut feeling that I should go to the campus earlier. Yet, I still wait until 8am then only I went. Can you guess what was happening when I reached the guard house of campus? Actually, I was cycling and I was being stopped by the guard. He said that we all couldn't go in by cycling because UTAR run was on going. Then, I told him that I had to participate in activity inside the campus. You know how rude was him? He said he knew but he couldn't let me go in. Then, I explained again I must go in because the activity starts at 830am. I was there at 810am. Do you what he answered me? He said I could go in via East gate. I was wondering whether he had brain. I was cycling that time and he asked me go in via East gate. Can you expect me cycle and go in by East gate? Do you know how far is it? He really very rude by shouting at me and said "you mahu cakap lagi kah?" Then, another helper came and said I could walk in.
So, I decided to cycle back and walk to campus again. I knew the time was a bit tight but I had no choice but to walk inside. I didn't want to miss the activity indeed. There's still 20 minutes for me to walk to the venue. I believed I can do it. What made me more angry was that all people cycled to go in on the other side and the guard didn't stop them. I really couldn't understand. No choice, I had to walk in because I already took my bicycle back to hostel. What I could do was to walk as fast as I could. I was not the participant of UTAR run but I felt like I was on of them. Kept on sweating and forced to walk. Anyway, luckily it was not raining. If not, I thought I had no choice but to miss the activity. When I reached the venue, it's already 835am. Luckily, the activity was not started yet.
The trainer of this program was Mr. Andrew. He is a good lecturer. I was quite sad to know that he was already resigned from UTAR. Perhaps he gets better offer from some where else. His class was really enjoyable whereby I enjoyed listening to him. He shared a lot with us. I think I am lucky because I could attend his last training program in UTAR. This program ended at 310pm and I had to walk back to hostel. Luckily, it was not that hot at that time. Tired indeed after coming back from the activity.
It had been a long time I didn't walk to the campus. This was my first time in this semester and hopefully I don't have to walk to campus again in future. Anyway, it was a good exercise for me today as the saying goes "walking 10000 steps per day makes you healthier".
