Vietnam 越南。越爱 2017

Wow~Wow~Wow~
On 28 April 2017, we have paid a visit to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This is the 7th country I had been to, 17th oversea trip, and 32nd flights in my life! Also, this is the shortest oversea trip I had. It's only 4 days and 3 nights trip. Yet, we had a lot of fun over there!

We took Malindo Air this time. It's only 2 hours journey from KL to Ho Chi Minh City. We became one hour younger when we reached Ho Chi Minh because of the time difference of 1 hour between Malaysia and Vietnam.

Malindo Air~Pizza~
Our breakfast of the day~ Pizza~ The design of the packaging looked very attractive indeed!

Saigon Airport
This was our first time choosing Airlink Travel Agency~ We went there without a tour leader. Thus, we looked so hard for our tour guide once we reached Saigon Airport. The tour guide wear a pair of sunglasses, sitting in the crowd and holding "Airlink" signage. Yea~I was the first one who successfully recognize our tour guide. Luckily, he knows Chinese...

Cu Chi Tunnel

The first destination of our journey is Cu Chi. Finally, I was able to take this photo. They said people who are slim enough only have the chance to take this photo. Also, you must be tall enough. A lot of people is asking me did I actually think that there might be snake inside. I said I never think of this. At that moment, I only thought of how to take a good photo by going inside to this small hole. It is a very significant photo~ We got to know some history of how Vietnamese people survive during the war! It's not been easy for them to "create" this tunnel. It's awesome!

The People's Committee Hall of Ho Chi Minh
On the second day itself, we went for city tour. It'a tiring but memorable tour indeed. We went to few significant icons of the city, including House Opera, The People's Committee Hall of Ho Chin Minh, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office.

Most popular destination among tourists and here am I~ Notre Dame Cathedral~

The old post office is just opposite the church.

To all my dearest friends, have you gotten my postcard? Hope you all will like it! xD It's a very previous one, keep it nicely ya~

Can I be one of the cabin crew? It's my dream anyway~

Tourists must try the famous coffee in Saigon, Vietnam~ Yummy~ It's our tea time of the day~

War Remnant Museum~
We found that there's a lot tourists whose origin from Western countries inside the museum. We got to know some of history inside the museum by seeing the old photos, war clothes and gun!

Water Puppet Show
We got the opportunities to watch a puppet show during this journey. It's actually originated from Hanoi, Vietnam. Yet, we still have the chance to watch it in Ho Chi Minh~ We had been amazed by the show~ Great job to all performers! Thanks tour guide who let us know the secret of how they actually make this show happenned!

Water Puppet Show

Dinner on Saigon River Cruise
We had our dinner on Saigon River Cruise. It's a very grand "restaurant" on the Cruise. We also entertained by the performance of the local people. Also, we enjoyed the night view of Saigon river.

Night View of Saigon River~
Our tour guide named it as little "Wai Tan" of ShangHai

My Tho Elephant Ear Fish & Dinosaur Egg
Hey guys, do you feel that this looked so familiar? Yes! Recently, it has been shared quite a lot in FB! My mum said she is going to make the same fish as shown above during CNY next year~~haha
Everyone is busy taking photos when these dishes were served.

This photo might not clearly shown that we were taking canoe~
It made us remember of our trip to Bangkok last year~ 4 person 1 canoe and of course someone was controlling it for us. We are not the expert and so to avoid any accidents, let's get someone to be our "controller of the canoe".

The famous hat in Vietnam~ Wow~ Holding it to take picture is just so nice! It's so called "斗笠".

你看我,我看你~好有feel的一张~

This is the local fruit of Vietnam~牛奶果。It tastes yummy and how we wish to get some back to Malaysia. Initially, we planned to buy one and ended up we had bought 3 牛奶果! Its appearance is almost same with passion fruit. Yet, it is not!

马车呀~你慢些走咧,慢些走~
Actually, the horse looked so tired and our tour guide explained to us that the horse still not yet eat or drink for the day because there are too many tourists for the day! Pity the horse~~

Vinh Trung Temple
This is the Vietnamese temple and it's the last destination of our journey~How I wish I can sleep until wake up naturally everyday~So blessed~

Flied back to Malaysia~
Could you spot the uniqueness of Ho Chi Minh City? It is just so so so different from the view of Malaysia~
