2014.5.30 is a meaningful day for me. Actually, it's just a very common thing. Yet, it's something significant in my life. Yes! It's my first time to donate blood! So brave am I! I am proud of myself! Before this, I never think of going for blood donation. But then...I saw the "Blood donation" poster in campus last semester. I promised myself to do that in UTAR one time, at least. Yea~I always have some "伟大的梦想”as what Yujin said. Actually, not to say "伟大”. Just that I planned to do something significant which I wish to accomplish before I graduate. Until now, I already accomplished few. The next one will be UTAR run and Yoga camp!
Well, let's recall my first experience donating blood. Although I had this thought since last semester but I also not sure whether I am going to do it. Yea~It's the timing. Few days ago, my friend asked me whether I want to donate blood. Then, I told myself that I am going to experience it for the first time!
Right after my class, I went for blood donation. Frankly speaking, I was a bit nervous at that time. But....Since I already came then I shall go for it!
Station 1: Weight determination
Station 2: Form completion
Station 3: Blood pressure indication
Station 4: Blood type testing
Station 5: Giving out of blood donation card
Station 6: Information keyed-in
Station 7: BLOOD DONATION!
*****COMPLETED!*****
Actually, I was not that satisfied with some parts of the process. First, I think the student helper was not so helpful when I filled in the form. She didn't guide me and I had to read and understand everything by myself. Besides, the voice of the doctor was so soft until I couldn't listen clearly what he said. What couldn't he spoke a bit louder huh? This was not the worst! The even worst thing was that a Indian talked to me super fast and in INDIAN SLANG! He is bad-tempered as well. OMG! I couldn't listen clearly ma...
Next, when it comes to the blood donation stage, it was not painful actually. But then please don't speak to me that "I cucuk ar...". Don't alert me please...Just "cucuk" faster and don't make me feel it la....XD
Anyway, it's indeed a great experience for me! I will do it for second time, third time....for sure!
Let's go for blood donation! Save life!
