Ipoh Trip

New semester commenced on Monday itself but many of us are still in the holidays mood since there are 2 holidays in this week. Since we are very free in this week, so we planned to have a trip to Ipoh on Friday. We had this plan before last semester ended. Eventually, we managed to go to Ipoh for shopping. Yet, instead of only Denise and me, there's four of us going together.

         Actually, we went to Ipoh first (thanks Denise's bf for fetching us) and met up with another friend, Suching there. Our first destination was Ipoh Parade. After one month, I went there again. The decoration there has been changed in conjunction with the coming CNY. Although CNY is coming, it's not that crowded as our expectation. This was the first time I went for shopping together with Denise. We went into few shops and tried some clothes. Eventually, we only managed to get two which are suitable for us. 

         After shopping for few hours, we all felt tired and hungry as well. Thus, we decided to have some food first before we met up with Suching. We had popular "dou fu hua" and "kaya puff" as our simple lunch. It tasted nice. Then, we went to railway station to meet up with Suching. She was all the way from Sg. Long to Ipoh to meet up with us. This was our first time going to Ipoh railway station. The building looked very unique. You may not know it is a railway station by the design of the building. 

          Next station, we were heading to have our proper lunch. We went back to the town area to eat "Ya Cai Ji" which is very popular as well. It's already 4pm when we had our lunch. I seldom have my lunch at this time or even never do this before. We were full with energy to go for 2nd round shopping. Jusco Kinta City, here we went! Actually, there's nothing special there too. It was half year ago since last time I came. Initially, we planned to watch a movie before we went back to Kampar but then there's no movie that we were highly interested in. Hence, we went back to Kampar to have our dinner (Denise became our second driver of the day :)  ).

         Well, our next station was a coffee house. The design there is very unique. We met our friend, Wenwen there. What a coincidence! So, we had our tea and dessert as our dinner.
