10 Significant Life Event in 2013

It already comes to the end of 2013. Today is the last day of 2013. So, let's have a little review of my year 2013! I have summarized 10 significant incidents in my 2013.

1st 

March 2013

Utar Convo Carnival March

UCCM is the largest event I joined in UTAR although I was just a helper of the particular event. Yet, I have learnt a lot throughout the event. It was a good experience for me indeed.

2nd

May 2013

MUET

I sat for MUET exam in February. My result is really out of my expectation. I passed it with flying color which I never expect before. Hehe... By luck or by effort?! Anyway, I am so satisfied with it.

Wuhan Study Tour

It is one of my dream to join study tour to other counties. Yeah, finally I have this opportunity to visit university in other countries. This 10-day study tour was indeed a memorable one! Although I have visited China for few times and yet I have a whole new experience in this study tour!

Yoga Weekly Class

Eventually, I have the chance to organize the 1st event in UTAR. I am the chairperson for Yoga Weekly Class from June to August. Although it was just a small event but I am glad that I have the opportunity to learn something.

"Triumph in the Skies" Roadshow

Oh yeah! Finally, the 2nd episode of my favorite drama was out! This is a super nice HK drama indeed. Let's shout: I want to fly!!!

Family Trip to Shanghai, China

After 14 years, we went to Shanghai again. This was my 2nd visit to Shanghai. It is a beautiful and well-developed city. When will be my 3rd visit to Shanghai? Another 14 years time?

ntv7 Yuan Carnival

This was my first time joining Yuan carnival. It was held at UTAR grand hall and that's why I attended it. I have the opportunity to take photo together with 8tv hosts, Gary, Chrystina and Rickman. Cheers!

First Saturday ~ Ipoh, Perak

Third Saturday ~ KL

Same date with last year....Again, we went for a trip on 26th December right after Christmas!!!

We went for 3 days 2 nights this time! It's wonderful & memorable!!!

Indeed, I appreciated that we had the opportunity to go for a trip again because it's so difficult that we all are free and having holidays together since we are studying in different universities!

Hello!!!!!

I just came back from NSQ 4 days 3 nights camp.

Indeed, it was a memorable, enjoyable and wonderful one.

This was my 3rd time joining this camp after missing it for 2 years.

A lot to share as for this camp.

Actually, what's the reason for me to join this camp? 

What I can say is "a moment of impulse"...

Thanks my friend for sharing her experience in some of the camps, triggering me to join NSQ camp again!

A lot of surprises for me in this camp.

1st surprise : met up with my former group leader, Hong Wei

I was so happy that he still remember me^^ 

Time flies....Last time when I was still studying in secondary school and he was studying in university.

Now, I am studying in university and he is now working in Singapore.

2nd surprise : meet up with 2013 "Hua Hi Lai KaRa" Bronze winner, Marcus Lee Zi Heng

Marcus, a 19-year-old guy who can sing really well

Surprise in Sem Break

How's my holidays likely?

There's about 29 days holidays for me. How am I going to spend it? According to my plan, there's 4 targets that I wish to achieve in my holidays. Yet, it seems that I can just achieve 2 out of the 4 targets.

Time flies. Today is my 4th day at my hometown already. Until now, I am quite enjoy my holidays. My first target had been realized in the very first day of my holidays. After I came back from Kampar, I had the chance to attend the movie "Ah beng mission impossible" roadshow and I was being selected to participate in one of the games. Although I didn't win the grand prize this time but I appreciated that I was being selected again to be the participant.

I become the "zhai nv" at home for these 3 days and never go out from my house. What have I done actually? Just something you may think of. Actually, I have to do some preparation for my camp which will start from tomorrow. Thus, I can stay away from my computer for 4 days and so it can have a well rest. xD This camp is my 2nd target to be achieved in this semester break. I did participate in this Malacca camp before few years ago. This time I am going alone again, not being accompanied by anyone. Hope that it will be an enjoyable one and won't disappoint me. 

After coming back from that camp, my schedule is blank. There's about 3 weeks more for my holidays after that. What should I do in 3 weeks time? Is there anyone want to meet up with me and go for "yamcha"? wondering~

It's holidays now!!! My holidays started right after my last paper at 12pm last Saturday.

After finished my examination, I was rushing to Ipoh to meet my pen-pal. After 1 hour journey, I reached Ipoh. This was my first time taking bus to Ipoh. Indeed, it was a challenge for me to travel alone to Ipoh. Initially, I planned to take UTAR bus to old down so that I could take bus to go to Ipoh from old town. Yet, I only realized that UTAR bus was not going to old town on Saturday. I was so worried that I couldn't reach Ipoh on time. The only thing that I could do was to wait at new town bus stop. Luckily, the bus came within 5 minutes. I felt more secured. I tried to be very alert along the journey because I was worried that I missed the particular bus stop. Anyway, I still able to recognize all the landmarks mentioned by my friend. 

Yeah~ I met my pen-pal finally. We went for lunch first because I was just too hungry after the examination. I had "gei shi ho fen" as my lunch and thank you my friend for treating me lunch. What's the feeling to meet someone whom you know for 10 years but never meet before?! Shall I say it is a miracle? Perhaps this word is too exaggerate. Perhaps the word "excited" is rather suitable. 

After taking our lunch, we were heading to Ipoh Parade. According to my friend, it was being renovated just some times ago. We paid our first visit to there after its renovation. Actually, I had nothing to buy because my intention was not went for shopping. Thus, we just simply walked around and not even window shopping.

Then, we went to his secondary school which is just right opposite of Ipoh Parade. I did notice it during my last visit to Ipoh but I was not managed to go inside to have a look. So, I had the opportunity to go inside for this time. My friend did introduce me about his secondary school. It was quite weird for me to walk inside actually because I was the only girl there at that time. His secondary school is quite different as compared to my secondary school. 

We walked back to Ipoh Parade then. We continued with our "window shopping". Then, we decided to go for a drink so that we can sit down and had a better chit-chat session. It's good idea indeed for us to refresh ourselves. So, we had a better environment to chit-chat. He shared a lot with me. It's all about our pen-pal life last time, his preparation for his further studies and his future plan. I always think that we will learn something when we talk to someone. Indeed. He is an ambitious person indeed and I think he will be a very successful person in future. It's important to have a direction for us to move on. I agree. Hence, I shall have taken some time to do some planning for my future. Then, I shall have higher motivation in my life. Anyway, happiness and healthiness are still very crucial.

Since this was the first time we met, photo session is a necessity. Thus, we searched for a "beautiful place" to take photo. Christmas is around the corner, so there's some decoration for Christmas too inside Ipoh Parade. At least, there's some beautiful background for us to take photo. No one can be our camera man, so we could just take photo by ourselves. Both of us are not "self photo taking" expert. So, we tried for many times in order to get the "perfect" photos. After trying for few times, we could see the improvement. We were satisfied with it eventually.

Before leaving, he brought me to buy some "gei zai beng" so that I had something to bring back when I go back to hometown. Time flies...It's time for me to leave Ipoh. He accompanied me until the bus came. According to the schedule, there should be a bus for every 15 minutes. Yet, no bus was coming. We had been waited for around half hour. So, we had some time to talk more. At 550pm, the bus finally came. I get on to the bus after we said "Goodbye" to each other.
