This is our very first time went to East Malaysia, Sabah! Although it is part of Malaysia, it took us 2 hours plus flight flying there. Generally, it is more or less the same as Peninsular Malaysia. After we touched down safely at Sabah, we went for a quick lunch before heading to Kundasang where our resort located.
The city of Sabah is not that big. You will definitely feel relax when you are there and temporarily forgetting the hassle of KL life.We had a very friendly driver guide over there. When we were on the way to Kundasang, we managed to see the famous floating mosque as well as the icon of the city, Menara Tun Mustapha (Yayasan Sabah) and Pusat Pentadbiran Negeri Sabah. The driver was just so nice to let us to take some photos in front of these famous building! He called Yayasan Sabah as "Big Battery". Yea~~ With some imagination, we "believe" it is a battery! Haha~~

Afterwards, we traveled to Kundasang. Again, it is a 2 hour drive from Kota Kinabalu to Kundasang. There's no highway and it's just a normal road. We could say it is 山路十八弯. There were so many cars on the road. Most of the residents are staying around the mountain area. On halfway to Kundasang, we stopped at fruit market to buy so fruits and it was tasted nice. When we were about to reach Kundasang, it was raining. We could feel the coldness. Our resort is located at higher part of the mountain. We felt a bit disappointed that we couldn't go out to take photos due to poor weather. We could only stay inside the room. The sky was started getting dark at 6pm.
On the second day, we wake up early in the morning at about 6am. We just found out that a lot of tourists were outside to see the sun rise and taking photos. I just realized that I was late. Thus, I quickly washed my face and went out to have a look. Wow! The Mount Kinabalu is just behind our resort, Dreamworld Resort. The view is just awesome! Now, we knew why so many tourists came here just to visit Mount Kinabalu! It is indeed the highest mountain in South East Asia.

After breakfast, we continued our journey to Kinabalu Park and Poring Hotspring. Upon reaching there, we went for a canopy walk and some jungle trekking. I regret that I did not wear sport shoes on that day. Then, we came to a waterfall.

In the evening, we visited the famous tourist attraction, Desa Farm. A lots of my friends had been there before and now it's my turn! People are used to say it is Mini New Zealand. Yet, I hardly feel that~ haha....We tried the ice-cream~~

At night, we came back to Kota Kinabalu. Then, we looked for seafood for our dinner! We walked more than 2km just to find a restaurant to eat seafood.

On third day of our Sabah trip, early in the morning a about 6am, we went to Pasar just to buy pepper. Then, we walked back to hotel. It's indeed a good exercise! We found a "Big Fish" on route to Pasar! haha~
Heart of the city, Kota Kinabalu
I love KK!
We had our last itinerary for our Sabah trip which known as Mari-Mari Cultural Village! We got to know some cultures of the 5 ethnics, including Bajau, Murut and many more. We grabbed the chance to try some of the local food, drinks and some little game. As for last part of whole visit, local people had dance performance for the visitors. Last but not least, we had our lunch over there before going back.
Thanks to locals who drew beautiful flowers on our hand.
