ECS 5-minute speech presentation
It has been a long time I didn't write anything here.Once again,the same opening for my blog for this time.
I am so happy today because I did quite well for my first time individual presentation.It is so-called public speaking.Actually,I was quite nervous at that time because I didn't have any time to do rehearsal before I went to campus.
24 February 2012 3pm at B003.....
Before we had our presentation,Ms.Chin gave some guidelines to all of us.Ms.Chin is a very good lecturer because she even shared with us about how to lengthen the time if we finish our speech before 4 minutes.
Presentation started....Ms.Chin said that the guy's hands were shaking when he passed the evaluation form to her.It was normal because he was the first presentor.
Started....
His topic was "dream".I think that he went to listen to Mr.Tan's talk because many of his points I listened from the talk before.His presentation was quite good whereby Ms.Chin praised him a lot for his movement throughout his presentation.
Next....No.2....Another guy....
His topic was skip school and he wore secondary school T-shirt which was very matched with his topic .His look was just like a "samseng" .Probably he shared about skip school.Nothing much about him to talk about.Let's move on with next presentor.
NO.....THREE!!!!!!!!!!
Let's welcome LAI MEI GUAN!Yea,it's me!Is my turn for the presentation.Actually,I was really nervous.I can tell you that I even forgot about what to say after I had said "Good evening to Ms.Chin and my fellow friends...".Anyway,I tried my best to deliver my speech.I tried to make it loud and clear but I think that I talked a bit fast.Somemore,I forgot my scripts.However,I just talked anything that came across my mind.I came to my conclusion part and the time-keeper showed me the green card to cue me that I left 1 more minute.I was quite happy because I could finish it in 5 minutes.I also tried to have eye contact with the audience and I found that actually I can do that.When I showed the "love-shaped"balloon pictures,Ms.Chin smiles a bit.Hehe~After my speech,Ms.Chin said"good job and well done!"I was really happy to hear that.I was just like on the top of the world!
For the following presentor,sorry to say that I didn't really pay attention to your speech because I was keep on thinking of my performance just now.Their topic were"Teluk Intan,how to acheive goal successfully and introduction of himself".Anyway,they also did a good job.
Finally,Ms.Chin gave some comments to each of the presentors including me.Ms.Chin did really praised me a lot.haha.Before she gave comments to me,she asked me to stand up.She said that I looked totally different today.I looked more professional and more matured.My presentation was up to her expectation.She didn't give me many comments.Instead she said she gave me full marks for many aspect but I still need to work hard for my pronouncation.Yup.I know it.
week 6 comes to the end and week 7 is going to start!

中国报 “优学” 21-2-2012
末日前談一場戀愛

近年來，2012年世界末日的預言不絕于耳。然而，人類是否會就此消失，地球又會否毀滅？這一切問題，無人能夠解答。對我而言，若人類能夠愛護地球，世界末日的預言一定不會成真！
但，世事難料，我們根本無法預測下一秒鐘會發生什么事。要是世界真的末日，我必會盡力地去完成我的心願。首先，我會帶家人到處去旅行。我特別想到中國哈爾濱去看冰雕，到日本去看櫻花，還有到美國世界最大的迪斯尼樂園去游玩。每到一個地方，我必定會拍很多很多照片，留下我人生中最美好的回憶！
此外，我會做一些我從來不敢去做的事，如玩超刺激的遊戲。我算是膽子小的人，所以，不曾嘗試過山車、笨豬跳或跳樓機。若是世界真的要末日，我不管三七二十一，玩了再算。人，就是要不斷地嘗試新東西，人生才會精彩嘛！
再者，我會趕快找一個男朋友，談戀愛去。人生要是缺乏戀愛過程，那就不完美了。我不曾談過戀愛，不知道那會是怎么樣的感覺。所以，在世界末日前，一定要好好地去談一次戀愛。我想，那個感覺將會是甜甜的，很幸福吧！
無論世界是否真的會末日，我們都應該保持樂觀心態去面對。希望大家能夠好好享受人生！明天會更好！
